Victoria Méndez, is the Supervising Assistant City Attorney for the Quality of Life and Environmental Division of the Office of the City Attorney, City of Miami. Mrs. Méndez’ main areas of practice are land use and environmental law, concentrating in the areas of platting, building, code enforcement, eminent domain, planning and zoning, and handling the litigation thereof. Mrs. Méndez received her Juris Doctor in December 1999 from the University of Miami College of Law. Mrs. Méndez received her Masters Degree of Public Administration from the University of Miami in May 1999. She received an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Political Science from the University of Miami in December of 1995. Mrs. Méndez was inducted into Iron Arrow, Omicron Delta Kappa and Alpha Epsilon Phi Honors Societies while in law school.

Mrs. Méndez is admitted to practice in The Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mrs. Méndez is finishing her sixth term as a Director for the Cuban American Bar Association. She is also a Trustee for the Miami-Dade County Law Library and former Chair for a Florida Bar Grievance Committee. Mrs. Mendez is also a member of the American Bar Association; Dade County Bar Association; Florida Association for Women Lawyers; the League of Prosecutors; the Spellman-Hoeveler American Inn of Courts; National Association for Professional Women and Florida Bar Foundation Fellow.

Mrs. Méndez is happily married to Carlos E. Morales. They are blessed with two wonderful boys
